Adapt 2019 Annual Report to The Community

Adapt today released its 2019 Annual Report to the Community. The report provides information about the delivery of primary care, behavioral health care, and prevention services over the past year, and highlights successes in providing care to individuals, families and communities throughout Douglas, Coos, Curry and Josephine, counties.

“Although the release of our Annual Report comes at a time when our hearts and minds are focused on keeping our families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope that the report will stand as an expression of our gratitude to the many supporters and community partners who are making a difference in peoples’ lives today and for generations to come,” said Dr. Gregory Brigham, Adapt CEO.

In 2019, Adapt, Compass Behavioral Health and SouthRiver Community Health Center provided services to over 12,000 children, adolescents, and adults in its four-county region. “We have worked hard to make it easier for community members throughout our region to connect with the services they need, and our work paid off in more patients served and more services provided to the community,” said Brigham.

Among the many accomplishments highlighted in the report is the integration of primary care and behavioral health services at the new SouthRiver Community Health Center in Roseburg, increasing access to medical care for our most vulnerable community members. In 2019, Compass Behavioral Health provided mental health care and support services to over 3,700 youth and adults throughout Douglas County. Both SouthRiver and Compass launched Open Access—also known as same day scheduling—making it easier for new and existing patients to get the care they need when they need it. In 2019, Adapt’s Opioid Treatment Programs in Douglas and Coos counties provided life-saving medication-assisted treatment to 468 community members—a 10% increase in patients served over the prior year. Adapt’s Opioid Treatment Program in Coos County received national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities—demonstrating a commitment to the highest quality patient care.
