Meet Tim Edwards, the dynamic Chief Information Officer at Adapt Integrated Health Care. With a robust background in both financial and information systems, Tim has seamlessly transitioned into a pivotal role where technology meets healthcare.
Tim’s journey in technology began as a CPA and auditor in Arizona, after which he discovered his passion for IT. This led to roles ranging from Database Administrator to Director of Finance and Information Systems. Prior to joining Adapt, he served as the CIO for Arizona Community Physicians, where he led significant digital transformations, including the successful implementation of the Epic EHR system.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. His education is complemented by certifications in generative AI and prompt engineering for ChatGPT from Coursera and Microsoft.
Driven by a desire to leverage technology in improving healthcare delivery, Tim joined Adapt to lead efforts in deploying cutting-edge solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. His role capitalizes on his dual expertise in accounting and IT, ensuring a holistic approach to technological advancements.
As CIO, Tim is responsible for all technological functions at Adapt, including project management, network services, data analytics, and the security of the electronic health record systems. His leadership ensures that Adapt’s technology strategy aligns with its mission of providing exemplary healthcare services.
