Healthcare Planning is the process of thinking through the care that you want before you need it. In Oregon, this involves creating an “Advanced Directive.”
An Advanced Directive allows you to describe the kind of care you want to receive and who should speak for you in an emergency. Your doctors or loved ones don’t need to guess if you can’t tell them yourself, you’ve already spelled it out.
