Outpatient Counselor

Glenda Lewis attended Rogue Community College for AAS and Solano Community College. She is also part of Phi Theta Kappa and was Marshall for the year she graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Glenda has worked in this field since 2003 where she worked in the unit office for Addictions Recovery Center. She worked for the ARC for five years. Worked both residential and outpatient programs. In 2004 she was with the ARC Glenda earned her CAGC II and helped establish the gambling program where both On Track and the ARC came together in collaboration for a pilot program.

She came to work for Adapt in 2008 as an outpatient counselor. During her time at Adapt she has worn several hats, the most recent has been in the DUII program for the last 16 years. She worked with a chronic pain group for a couple of years, worked with youth, and IOP.

DUII has been her favorite area to work, and it’s been a great experience to be here in this position. Her philosophy of care is to be helpful, help people understand what they can expect while here and walk with them through it.
