Behavioral Medicine
At the intersection of medical, psychological, behavioral, and social aspects of health lies Behavioral Medicine. Our holistic approach ensures that every facet of your well-being is addressed, giving you the tools to lead a healthier life.
What is Behavioral Medicine?
Behavioral Medicine emphasizes the entirety of an individual’s health journey. Our approach focuses not just on your physical well-being but also considers emotional, psychological, and social factors that influence your overall health.
With us, you receive comprehensive care that adds depth to traditional medical treatments.
How It Works
Central to our mission of integrated health are our Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs). These dedicated professionals have undergone rigorous mental health training and seamlessly merge into your primary care team.
Together with your Primary Care Provider, BHCs are committed to giving you personalized, concentrated care that encompasses:
- Quick appointment scheduling, sometimes on the same day.
- Brief, focused therapy sessions with an option for longer-term therapy via community referrals.
- Ongoing coordination between medical and behavioral healthcare, ensuring a comprehensive overview of your health.
- Access to case management services to help connect you with the right resources.
