Meet Dr. Deric Ravsten, the Chief of Psychiatric Services for Adapt! Dr. Ravsten is a native of Idaho and arrived at Adapt with nearly 30 years of psychiatric medical experience. He is humbled to join the skilled and committed array of professionals and staff at Adapt in their work of providing integrated care for each person, including the medical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health and wellness.

Dr. Ravsten has served in many leadership roles, such as a medical director, psychiatric consultant, and CEO of an interdisciplinary medical clinic where he has provided novel treatments including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, mindfulness training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and is Level 1 certified in PRT (Pain Reprocessing Therapy).

A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and past president of the Idaho Psychiatric Association, Dr. Ravsten brings passion and compassion to the work of helping patients along the path to wellness.

Dr. Ravsten seeks to leverage the resources and capacity of Adapt as a delivery system to provide more access to new and innovative treatments to those in the Southwest Oregon community as part of its commitment to world-class patient-centered care.

Outside of work, Dr. Ravsten is happiest when he is outdoors, riding trails on his mountain bike or hiking with his wife, Julie.
