School Based Therapist

Ashley graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in Sociology in 2022. She graduate from Idaho State University with a M.COUN in School Counseling in 2024. In the same year she was a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho and a National Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Her special recognitions include receiving the Stephen S. Feit Student Award for Professional Excellence during her graduate program.

Her therapeutic approach has a holistic framework and systems foundation, integrating techniques to promote personal wellness across multiple life domains. Through a Person-Centered and strengths-based lens, she places great value in building a positive, collaborative relationship with her clients where they can feel safe and empowered. Ashley often utilize Solution-focused and Cognitive Behavioral therapies while integrating techniques from Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help guide her interventions towards overcoming hardships and assessing motivation for change. Her goal as a therapist is to help clients identify personal goals and needs for treatment, develop and maintain healthy relationships, discover new tools for wellness and self-care, make informed decisions, and ultimately achieve greater independence and overall life satisfaction.
