Beatrice May is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University. She also holds certifications in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and American Addiction Medicine, and is licensed as both an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and Registered Nurse (RN) in Oregon.

Beatrice’s extensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Texas at Arlington, an Associate Degree in Health Science from Colllin College, an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Paris Junior College, and earlier credentials as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and in Health Sciences.

With over 640 hours of clinical experience across diverse settings, Beatrice has worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and in telehealth roles with organizations like Mindset Psychiatric PLLC and Guiding Star Healthcare. She has specialized in treating opioid and alcohol addiction at Semper Healthcare and has a strong background in correctional mental health, substance abuse treatment, and community health. Her clinical expertise includes psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and collaborative care across interdisciplinary teams.

Fluent in English, French, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and Kirundi, Beatrice brings a culturally inclusive approach to patient care, ensuring accessibility for a diverse range of clients.
