Cindy Shirtcliff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience working with youth, families, and adults. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BS) with an emphasis on Developmental Psychology from the University of Oregon and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is licensed with the State of Oregon Social Work Board and joined the Adapt Integrated Health Care team in 2020.
Currently serving as both the Team Lead for the Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA) program and an Adult Outpatient Therapist, Cindy brings 25 years of experience in mental health. Her diverse career includes conducting custody evaluations, working as a behavioral consultant in schools, providing outpatient therapy, engaging in community organizing, and teaching at Umpqua Community College.
Cindy’s clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Passionate about supporting under-resourced clients, Cindy employs a strength-based approach, focusing on clients’ strengths and resources rather than their challenges. Her goal is to empower individuals to achieve their best outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based care.
