Dr. Greg Brigham to retire May 2025
With over forty-two years in healthcare, including more than a decade in leadership at Adapt Integrated Health Care, Dr. Greg Brigham has announced plans to retire in 2025. To facilitate a smooth leadership transition, Adapt has partnered with Boardwalk Consulting, a national executive search firm specializing in nonprofit leadership recruitment, to identify its next CEO. Dr. Brigham will remain with Adapt until the new CEO is onboarded to ensure continuity in both business and service operations.
As a pioneer in integrated healthcare for rural Oregon, Adapt has become a trusted provider of primary care, behavioral health, and addiction services across Douglas, Josephine, Curry, and Coos Counties. This leadership transition marks a pivotal moment for the organization, setting the stage for new leadership to further its mission of promoting health and wellness in the community.
Founded in 1971 as an addiction treatment program, Adapt has evolved into a comprehensive healthcare provider, offering a full continuum of primary care, mental health, and addiction services. Along the way, Adapt has achieved significant milestones, including HRSA Quality Leader recognition, NCQA certification as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, and CARF accreditation. The new CEO will have the opportunity to build on this strong foundation, supported by a dedicated team of over 500 professionals, multiple service locations, and ambitious projects such as the 40-acre recovery campus currently under development.
The next leader will guide an organization deeply rooted in its communities and committed to a “No Wrong Door” approach to integrated healthcare. With substantial resources and a supportive board of directors, the new CEO will have the unique opportunity to drive initiatives that increase access to healthcare, address social determinants of health, and strengthen partnerships with Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) and other stakeholders to meet the evolving needs of southwestern Oregon.
