Jordan Ayres is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2008, and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, also Magna Cum Laude, in May 2016.
Jordan began her career in Child Welfare in 2016 with Child Protective Services in Austin, Texas, before transitioning to medical social work in 2020, serving Home Health and Hospice patients in Curry County. In 2023, Jordan joined Adapt Integrated Health Care as a crisis therapist and now serves as the supervisor for the Curry County Crisis Team.
Jordan’s clinical interests include exploring the neurobiology of trauma and its impact on brain functioning. She is particularly focused on becoming certified in EMDR therapy to better support clients with PTSD and trauma-related disorders.
Fluent in Spanish, Jordan is dedicated to providing accessible and culturally responsive care. Her philosophy centers on seeing individuals as whole beings, not merely their challenges. Jordan approaches clients with the understanding that trauma often shapes their experiences and emphasizes listening to each person’s needs to provide the best support.
