Amy R Sale, Professional Counselor Associate, QMHP-C

Therapist

Amy’s goal as a therapist is to help you make sense of difficult past experiences and make meaningful changes in your life. We will work collaboratively to help you acquire the tools needed to make progress toward your goals. She believes therapy is most effective when personalized to meet the client’s needs, strengths, and goals. Of each client, she makes use of various therapeutic techniques.

She knows no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so she has been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Amy is trained as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

She started her career in 2011 working with youth in residential treatment. Amy graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology in 2014 and moved with her family to Gold Beach where she worked as a case manager while earning her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
