As a Clinical Supervisor, Laura brings a wealth of clinical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment. With 8 years of experience in mental health services, Laura is skilled in a range of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Mindful Self Compassion, and ACT therapy. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based clinical supervision.

Laura holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado and has completed specialized supervision training from The Noeticus Institute for Counseling and Training and Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead Curriculum which underpins her clinical supervision practices. She has a track record of supporting team members’ growth through structured guidance, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities. Known for her collaborative approach and emphasis on incorporating diverse perspectives and unique strengths. She uses proponents of polyvagal theory to creating a safe and productive environment where clinicians feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to improve their skills and serve clients effectively.

Committed to continuous learning, Laura stays updated on the latest research and clinical practices and encourages the team to do the same.  In addition to her clinical and supervisory skills, Laura is also skilled in administrative functions, including scheduling ,chart review,  caseload management, and regulatory compliance.

Laura’s leadership approach highlights each team member’s strengths, encourages mutual support, and promotes resilience among staff. By fostering a culture of empathy and respect, Laura inspires her team to strive for excellence in client care and to pursue ongoing professional growth.

Outside of her professional life, Laura enjoys her Yorkie named Wilhelmina, water sports, fishing, and spending time with friends.
