Mobile Crisis

Recognizing the profound impact of compassionate intervention, our Mobile Crisis Response Team was founded in 2018 as an oncall team to provide community members a sensitive alternative to law enforcement during mental health crises.

Our team works in tandem with our emergency response teams to report to situations where emphasizing de-escalation and forging genuine connections can be impactful and valuable to those in need. Our team links individuals with the necessary resources, ensuring both immediate relief and long-term support for the wellbeing of our community.

Responding to our Community

Mobile Crisis teams are are on-call 24/7 to assist emergency responders with calls to situations of mental health crisis.

Calls our teams respond to include community members with active suicidal or homicidal ideation, those at imminent risk of harm to self or others, or wellness checks.

Getting Connected

Our teams are dispatched through the Emergency Response system in the areas we cover, specifically Douglas & Curry County.

If you, someone you know, or a community member are displaying signs mentioned above, and it is not an emergency (no imminent risk of harm) call our non-emergency lines.
