Adapt Ranked in Top 25 of Oregon’s 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For

Adapt, headquartered in Roseburg and serving southern Oregon with offices in North Bend and Grants Pass, was named one of the 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon. Adapt ranked 23rd among the 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in 2020. This is the fifth time Adapt has made the list.

Each year, Oregon Business, in partnership with the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, invites employees from profit and nonprofit organizations throughout Oregon to participate in a confidential survey on such things as workplace satisfaction, work environment, management and communication, mission and goals, career development and learning, benefits and compensation, and sustainable practices. Recognized in the category of large nonprofit, Adapt participated in the survey along with other nonprofits representing 501(c) organizations, government agencies, professional associations hospitals and health plans, educational institutions, religious groups and charities.

On employee satisfaction, Adapt employees rated the organization high on measures of work environment, such as flexibility to balance family and community. Adapt was also rated high on measures of mission and goals, including pride and belief in the organization. “We are deeply honored to be recognized as one of the Top 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon,” said Greg Brigham, chief executive officer of Adapt. “The coronavirus pandemic has created a lot of uncertainties for our organization and businesses and organizations across the state, and we are especially gratified to know that our employees continue to feel supported, valued and committed to our mission.”

Adapt was established in 1971 and provides primary care, addiction treatment and mental health services to over 12,000 children, teens and adults each year. “The life-saving work our management and staff perform in southern Oregon is incredible,” said Todd Munsey, Chair, Adapt Board of Directors. “The fact that employees feel valued and supported is equally important to the Board. This honor validates and recognizes the mission and spirit of the entire organization.”
