Welcome to Fresh Start, one of Adapt’s key initiatives dedicated to transforming lives through recovery. This program is specifically designed for single, non-parenting adults who are ready to make significant changes and overcome the challenges of addiction.

Fresh Start tackles two of the biggest hurdles our participants face: stable housing and reliable transportation. By providing up to a year of safe accommodation and access to essential transportation, Fresh Start enables participants to concentrate fully on their recovery journey, focusing on both physical and mental health improvements.

Engagement is at the heart of Fresh Start. Participants are involved in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and contribute to weekly pro-social activities. These activities help foster a strong sense of community and belonging, crucial for long-term recovery. To be part of Fresh Start, individuals must show a commitment to maintaining sobriety and meet certain health care requirements.

But our support doesn’t stop at housing and treatment. Fresh Start offers a comprehensive safety net, including emergency assistance and partnerships with community agencies. Our goal is to empower participants, boosting their confidence and trust in their ability to change, and helping them make sustainable adjustments to their lives.
